Connect through the current shop QR
Create or download the driver QR in Delivery → Drivers & QR. New links use aradi.uk; previously printed shop tokens are still recognised. Android Driver 0.1.2 connects directly to the current domain and accepts both current and older QR links. Install it over the existing app to retain a valid device connection. An existing approved driver scans for each shift; a removed driver submits a new registration for manager approval.
Dispatch from the shared order queue
Delivery orders from different ordering channels use the same shop queue. The counter can mark a prepared delivery ready, open the compact driver picker and send its details. Available drivers are prioritised, followed by fewer completed deliveries and earlier check-in. The server checks the assignment again when it is sent.
Give the driver the details they need
The assigned driver can see the address, customer telephone, items, notes and remaining amount to collect. Directions can open in Google Maps or Apple Maps. Delivery notifications depend on the driver device, app permissions and notification settings; actual navigation runs in the chosen maps app.
Understand the three map states
Green means available, amber means taking a delivery and blue means returning. The driver marks Delivered & settled after handover and records the return to availability. Location updates require consent, an active shift and connectivity. GPS gaps remain visible; the map does not imply guaranteed background tracking or a traffic-based ETA. Driver pay records are bookkeeping, not bank transfers.
Remove a profile, keep its financial account
Remove driver deletes the live driver profile, device access, inbox and GPS records. It ends the active shift and releases unfinished deliveries. The phone number is freed for a fresh registration; old credentials cannot sign in. A returning driver receives a new id, zeroed working counters and a new approval request, even if ordinary first-time registrations are auto-approved. Previous wages, cash handovers and trip/pay evidence stay under the former id. Deactivate remains a separate access-control action.
Review outstanding driver balances
Delivery → Driver balances lists all-time wages owed, overpayments, customer cash held and settled accounts. Filter to outstanding, former or all accounts. Wage balances and customer cash are shown separately. Authorised finance staff can record actual wage payments, cash handovers or documented adjustments against a former account without restoring any login. A new registration never inherits the old account’s history or debt. Unpriced shifts stay flagged. Entries are bookkeeping records and do not transfer money.

Setup & availability
Delivery tools and staff permissions must be enabled. Device location and notification permissions are required where used. Map services and iPhone app distribution may need separate setup; browser background tracking has device limitations.
